Tottenham set to play Champions League match against Man City in new stadium

 - Tottenham have concluded plans to return to their famous White Hart Lane stadium

 - Spurs will take on Crystal Palace in a Premier League fixture on Wednesday, April 3 - And will host Man City in their crunch Champions League game at the same venue Tottenham have revealed they will be playing their first Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace at their brand new stadium on Wednesday, April 3.

 Spurs should have moved into White Hart Lane at the start of the 2018-19 season but had to reschedule it because of construction issues. A statement from ​club's ​website has now confirmed that the first game at the new stadium will take place at the start of April.

 The famous White Hart Lane will also host Spurs first leg quarter final Champions League tie against Manchester City "Following Brighton's victory against Millwall in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this afternoon, we can confirm that the first Premier League match in our new stadium will be against ​Crystal Palace on Wednesday 3 April (kick-off time TBC).

 This will be followed on Tuesday 9 April by the first leg of our UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City, kick-off 8pm. We shall now play Brighton in the Premier League at the new stadium on either Tuesday 23 or Wednesday 24 April.

 According to talkSPORT, the new stadium will host an U-18 match between Tottenham and Southampton on March 24, with the capacity reduced to just 30,000.

 Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Tottenham will face Manchester City in their Champions quarter final game. The English side defeated Borussia Dortmund in their round of 16 match to qualify for their first ever Champions League last eight tournament.
