Thomas Tuchel says PSG have responded to Champions League defeat against Man United

 The 45-year-old German professional coach added that the team were disappointed with the defeat

 - PSG beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford but were beaten 3-1 in the return leg in Paris Paris-Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has explained that his wards have responded to their Champions League defeat against Premier League side Manchester United.

 PSG traveled to England to beat Manchester United 2-0 in their first leg of their round of 16 encounter only for them to be defeated 3-1 in the second leg in Paris.

 The club's fans however protested against the defeat at home against Manchester United which put manager Tuchel under serious pressure. Tuchel's men on Sunday, March 17, however responded to their defeat against Manchester United by beating rivals Marseille in their first home game 3-1.

 "It was a good evening because we played with quality but also the right mentality. It was a special match and we were prepared. “It's not up to us to say sorry. We’re the most disappointed. It was an accident.

 “Everyone can feel that this team is united, they are always together, they give everything.

 "We must be quiet, be calm. It's hard, I will always defend my team, the boys are incredible,'' Tuchel explained according to Goal. Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Neymar is set to be hammered with a ban by UEFA after his social media rant when Paris Saint-Germain lost to Manchester United.

 An investigation has been launched into the matter by the governing body after the injured Brazilian posted a furious rant on Instagram when United were awarded a controversial penalty.
