‘AK-47 Fire’: Edo APC Chairman Threatens Anyone Against 2.5 Million Votes For Tinubu
Edo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Jarrett Tenebe, has threatened to unleash “AK-47 fire” on anyone who attempts to prevent the party from delivering 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Tenebe made the threat in a video that has gone viral, warning those he accused of standing in the way of the party’s plan to mobilise votes for Tinubu’s re-election.
He said the APC was targeting 2.5 million votes for the president and threatened to invoke the use of a general-purpose machine gun against anyone who opposed the plan.
“Anyone who wants to create an obstacle for us, I have a prayer for you, and the prayer is a lesser prayer because if you invoke Holy Ghost power, that one is more.
“If you invoke a general-purpose machine gun, that one is lighter.
“So everybody who refuses, who wants to stand in our way, for us not to have those votes that we intend to give to Mr President, AK-47 fire,” he said.
Osuntokun said Atiku is entitled to criticise Tinubu and his administration but described his manner of addressing the president as disrespectful to the office.
He said his long-standing cordial relationship with Atiku had made him reluctant to criticise the former vice-president harshly since the end of the Olusegun Obasanjo administration in 2007.
