Cement Bags Crush Security Guard To Death In Osun

 

DOMINION NEWS AGENCY reports that a night security guard has died after bags of cement fell on him at a block industry in Ilesa, Osun State.

Our correspondent gathered that the sad incident reportedly happened on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025.

According to the report filed by Olomola Samuel Olawale, the owner of the block industry, he discovered the incident at about 1830hrs when he arrived at his company located at Ajaka Estate, Oke Omiru Area.

It was found that approximately fourteen bags of cement had fallen on the security guard while he was asleep.

The victim was rushed to Wesley Guild Hospital, where he was confirmed dead on arrival. His body has been deposited at the morgue for further medical examination.

Efforts are being made to contact the family of the deceased.
