E DON HAPPEN: 45-Year-Old Man K¡lls Neighbour For Asking About His Marital Status

Dominion News Agency  reports that a  shocking incident occurred in South Tapanuli regency, North Sumatra, on July 29, resulting in the death of 60-year-old Asgim Irianto.

According to Assistant Police Commissioner Maria Marpaung, Irianto was allegedly killed by his 45-year-old neighbour, Parlindungan Siregar.

The motive behind the attack was reportedly Siregar’s growing frustration with Irianto’s repeated questions about his marital status.

Irianto’s wife stated that Siregar arrived at their home armed with a piece of wood and suddenly attacked her husband.

Despite Irianto attempting to flee, Siregar pursued him and delivered a fatal blow to his head.

The assault continued even after Irianto fell to the ground, until other residents intervened and stopped Siregar.

The police are currently investigating the incident, and Siregar is facing charges for the murder of his neighbor. This tragic event serves as a reminder of the need for empathy and understanding in our interactions with others.

Emergency responders rushed Irianto to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries en route.

Siregar was arrested shortly after the attack. Authorities suspect that the motive behind the violence was linked to Siregar’s irritation over Irianto’s repeated inquiries about his marital status.
