#EndSars 2020

 

Following the recent directive by the inspector general of police IGP Muhammed Adamu Abubakar mni NPM that special anti robbery squad be dissolved across the country,  the Ogun state police command wishes to inform the general public that it has complied with the directive with immediate effect. 

To this end, all the personnel of SARS in the command have been directed to submit their operational gears as well as change the inscription in their office situated at Magbon. 

With this directive, SARS has ceased to be in existence anywhere across Ogun state. 

Also, despite afflicting injuries on two officers of the command, the commissioner of police has ordered the release of 27 youths arrested in the wake of #Endsars protest for the sake of peace.

 

Meanwhile, the command wishes to warn that since SARS which is the basis of the protest has been dissolved,  anybody who come out to protest about SARS as from Monday 10th of October will be considered to have an ulterior motive and such person or persons will be made to face wrath of the law as you cannot build something on nothing.
