INEC Unveiled Plans to Enhance.......

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has unveiled plans to enhance the participation of all marginalized groups in the electoral process.

the plan is to migrate the challenges confronting people with disabilities (PWDs) and promote their participation in the political process.

The INEC chairman, Professor #Mahmood_Yakubu who made this known in Abuja, said it would open the door for more meaningful participation of the PWDs community in all aspects of electoral process.

He said INEC has the  responsibility of ensuring PWDs friendly and complaint environment and processes during elections, adding that excluding the PWDs from the political process amounts to denying the nation the much needed contributions in the task of nation building.
